Decorations for the NYE party of the year!
Planning on throwing a big New Year’s Eve party to see 2016 out in style? We have five fabulous ideas to make it a night to remember. All that’s required is a little creativity. Oh, and a pair of scissors.
Transform your home into the perfect party location by creating a glamorous NYE atmosphere. Our five fun tips are set to make it a night to remember.
1. Up the bling
No New Year’s Eve party is complete without bubbly, but the bottle can be just as exciting as the contents. Use a small paintbrush to spread glue around the outside before rolling the bottle in glitter. Guaranteed to razzle-dazzle them!
2. Go for gold
Talking of bling – gold is ultimate in NYE colours so use it liberally around your home. Cut out 2017 from gold card and wrap the numbers in strips of gold foil or tinsel. Hang from a door frame or curtain rail.
3. Black tie
Everyone loves dressing up on New Year’s Eve so treat your table to some TLC too. Wrap a thick black ribbon around the centre of black serviettes for a smart, formal feel.
4. A brand new high
Showcase your buffet (LINK ZUM SILVESTER-SNACKS-ARTIKEL) by arranging helium-filled balloon over the table and hanging photos from the past year beneath them. Minimum effort, maximum impact!
5. Pasta pigs
Pigs are known to bring good luck, so get off to a good start in 2017 by giving your guests one to take home. You will need whole walnuts, gold spray paint, pink felt for the nose, small beads for the legs and Conchiglie pasta shapes for the ears and tail.
A generous scattering of glitter and gold is all you need to create a glamorous NYE setting for your party. Now tell your guests to dress up and don’t put the champagne on ice. Happy New Year everyone!
